Here are some of our shots from Hyperspace Hoopla from the first weekend of Star Wars Weekends. The ground slopes downhill away from the stage, so getting a good view can be tough. We got our spots 45 minutes in advance and had trouble seeing. Each Hyperspace Hoopla is different, but the general premise is that two. It’s a nice throw-back atmosphere to the 20’s. Disney’s Hollywood Studios is full of art deco architecture and posters. I took this shot while waiting for the Hyperspace Hoopla show at the end of Star Wars Weekends. Hyperspace Hoopla concludes each day with a dance-off event called Hyperspace Hoopla. You can see the storm rolling up behind the American Idol theater in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It was rife with pop culture references, a real hoot overall. In its place, a Star Wars-themed fireworks show called “Symphony in the Stars” will conclude each day of Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World. Hyperspace Hoopla has been retired and will not occur at Star Wars Weekends 2014.
